Organization and Staff
The department of Computer Science at Gunmma University now consists
of three laboratories, the Mathematical and Information Sciences
Laboratory, the Computer Systems and Computation Laboratory, and the
Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.

Hidetoshi Yokoo:
Ph.D., Tokyo University, 1987. Dr. Yokoo's research
interests include data compression, data structures, and information
theory.

Ph.D., Waseda University, 1973. Dr.Shibata's research interests
include graph theory, combinatorics, number theory, and diagnosis of
network systems.

Yoichi Seki:
Ph.D., Waseda University, 1990. Dr. Seki's research interests include
statistics, multi-variable analysis, and modeling and simulation.

Ph.D., Tohoku University, 1992. Dr. Nakano's
research interests include graph algorithm and graph theory.

Hirofumi Yokouchi:
Ph.D., Tokyo Institute of Technology, 1986. Dr. Yokouchi's research
interests include logic of programs and its applications to
programming languages.

Ken'ichi Kawanishi:
Ph.D., Kyoto University, 2001. Dr. Kawanishi's interests
include queueing theory, teletraffic theory, and performance evaluation
in communication systems.
